I Am Sorry

I know a number of people who have a difficult time saying, “I Am Sorry.” Taking responsibility is not one of their strong points. However without taking responsibility we never learn and grow. We ALL make mistakes and even create serious problems for ourselves and others.

I absolutely believe that whatever you send out into the universe will return to you multiplied. Probably not from where you might expect it but someway and somehow it MUST return. The Hindu call it Karma. Some call it the Law of Cause and Effect.

One way to clear the slate is to take responsibility and express sorrow. This begins the process of clearing and possible reconciliation. However we as human don’t know the Perfect method to heal ourselves and others. Only the Divine, or God or whatever nomenclature you wish to use for the Creative Energy of this Universe truly knows how to perform the Perfect healing.

Last week when we said “I Love You” we connected to the Divine first, by knowing that it isn’t somewhere out there but rather deep within us. If we were looking to heal some other person or situation we connected to them by saying “I Love You.” Now we had a Divine connection together.

At this point we are saying “I Am Sorry”, taking full responsibility to the Divine that knows the Perfect way to heal you, others and the situation.

Jesus gave us an example of this by stating that “I and the Father are One!” (Unification like I Love You). He knew that God had the Perfect plan, Not him, “I of my own self, I do nothing. The Father does all the work!”

Ho’oponopono does all its work on a Spiritual level. You are communicating directly with the Divine and the Divine responds.

Being a Religious Science Minister, this looks and feels very similar to a Spiritual Prayer Treatment or an Affirmative Prayer. Ho’oponopono goes one step further. Just like the Indigenous Spiritual Traditions that I have been introduced to around this planet, there is a greater sense of responsibility embraced. If I can see, smell, taste, feel or just know about someone or something it is now part of my world. My mind now takes responsibility for my entire world. This includes all of nature, animals, insects, everything.

I am directly connected and responsible for my entire world. This can seem overwhelming. But to be a true healer like Dr. Hew Len this is your reality.

Dr. Hew Len took full responsibility for all the patients and the staff in the ward for the Criminally Insane at the Hawaiian State Hospital and after 4 years of praying the Ho’oponopono prayer for them, the ward was closed down because the patients were healed and released.
